About The Position

Turning Point Homes, LLC is seeking a fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) to join our Outpatient School Based Services team. We are looking for contract therapists to serve Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. The CMS school is Selwyn Elementary, zip code 28211. This is the south Charlotte area. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited graduate program
  • Fully licensed in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT)
  • Minimum 1 year of documented clinical experience with the population served
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, insight, and unbiased clinical judgment
  • Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Sound ethical and professional decision-making
  • Local travel required for office or school-based work
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy—and family therapy when appropriate—in office or school-based settings
  • Deliver services through in-person or telehealth formats based on client needs
  • Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid 8C policy and MCO standards
  • Support clients through high-quality, evidence-informed outpatient treatment
  • Complete documentation within required timeframes per Medicaid Coverage Policy 8C
  • Maintain compliance with all outpatient service standards and MCO guidelines
  • Oversee administrative tasks including intakes, authorizations, reauthorizations, and productivity requirements
  • Respond promptly and professionally to new referrals and ensure all stakeholders remain informed
  • Participate in supervision, CEUs, and agency-required training to maintain licensure
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
