About The Position

Youth Haven Services is expanding its Day Treatment (DTX) program to the New Vision school site in Madison, NC and is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join their team. This role focuses on providing direct support, skill building, case coordination, and therapeutic interventions for youth with behavioral and mental health needs, all guided by their Person-Centered Plans. Services are delivered in the home and community, following YHS and state guidelines. The Site Manager will be responsible for actively participating in the development of Person-Centered Plans, ensuring adherence to Evidence base therapy models, educating family members, and working with clients on developing coping, problem-solving, and communication skills. They will also be responsible for completing and maintaining client records, scheduling and attending clinical supervision, completing client paperwork, delegating duties, managing authorizations, reviewing notes, providing crisis intervention, and being present in the school with clients during school hours. The Site Manager will supervise the Day Treatment program and staff and report to the Day Treatment program director. This is a full-time position with day shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field
  • Minimum of 2 years direct experience working with Mental Health diagnosis/population
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Competencies in the use of a personal computer (word processing/excel), On Target, photocopier and fax machine

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the development of Person-Centered Plans in conjunction with school personnel, social services professionals, assigned client(s) and their families.
  • Ensure adherence to Evidence base therapy model is being implemented in the classroom.
  • Educate family members regarding daily progress of client, mental health issues, existing community services, and act as an advocate in connecting family members to these services.
  • Work with assigned clients in the development of new coping, problem solving, and communication skills at age-appropriate levels.
  • Complete and maintain up-to-date client records according to YHS standards and prepare the necessary reports and file the client documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Schedule, attend and actively participate in clinical supervision once a week.
  • Completes client paperwork and delegates appropriate duties.
  • Manage authorizations and reauthorizations.
  • Reviewing and approving all notes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and treatment to client in school setting as needed to foster positive behavior in the classroom.
  • Be present in the school with clients during school hours.
  • Supervise Day Treatment program and staff and report to Day Treatment program director.
  • Other duties as assigned/required.
