About The Position

Flextrades is hiring HBM Machinists with 4+ years recent experience for a 3-month Travelling Contract to GEORGIA. This role requires experience with either floor mill or table-type HBMs. The position offers a pay rate of $44/hr with 50 hours per week guaranteed, including overtime over 40 hours. Additionally, a $45 per diem is provided tax-free, 7 days a week. Private hotel accommodations will be arranged and paid for by the company. References are required, and candidates must pass a background check and drug test. Travel time will be compensated.

Requirements

4+ recent years operating HBMs
Floor mill or table-type HBM experience required.
Gantry HBM experience not accepted.
Experience with weldments and large part machining.
Experience with long cycle time and setup time.
Proficient in GD&T
Proficient in G-Code
Must pass a background check and drug test.
References Required.

Responsibilities

Operate a Fermat WFT table type Horizontal Boring Mill running on 4 axes (w/ a B-axis rotary table) with a 10’x12’ table.
Operate an MTE Deutschland FBF-M floor mill running on 5 axes (3+2), attained from a multi-axis angle head.
Perform offsets and adjustments for feeds/speeds and tool wear etc.
Operate a 50T overhead crane.
