Blow Mold Maintenance Tech Travelling Contract
About The Position
Flextrades is hiring Blow Mold Maintenance Techs with 4+ years of recent experience for a 4-month travelling contract in Alabama. This role requires proficiency with injection stretch blow molding and extrusion blow molding machinery. The position offers a guaranteed 50 hours per week, with overtime pay over 40 hours. Additionally, a tax-free per diem of $45 per day is provided for 7 days a week, along with private hotel accommodations that Flextrades will book. References are required, and candidates must pass a background check and drug test. Travel time will be compensated.
Requirements
- 4+ recent years maintaining Blow Mold machinery
- Must be proficient with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Proficient in Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Proficient in Plastic Extrusion Experience
- Proficient in Injection Molding Experience
- Proficient in Blow Molding Experience
- Proficient in Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
- Proficient in Blueprint Reading
Nice To Haves
- PLC experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing injection stretch blow molding (ISBM) machinery, injection blow molding (IBM), and extrusion blow molding (EBM) machinery as well as the auxiliary equipment including case packers and box makers.
- Ensure the facility can get back into completing Preventive Maintenances and get back on track with the PM schedule.
