About The Position

Maintenance Technicians are critical to keeping our high-speed production equipment operating safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. You'll work with SACMI compression molding equipment, blow molders, conveyors, palletizers, chillers, compressors, and other automated manufacturing systems. Our Maintenance Technicians use their mechanical aptitude and technical expertise to diagnose problems, repair equipment, rebuild machine components, and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance. You'll utilize computerized maintenance systems and predictive maintenance tools, complete maintenance documentation, and collaborate closely with production to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is an essential part of this position.

Requirements

Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated control systems.
Understanding of or ability to quickly learn high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environment.
Understanding of and ability to follow applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be able to bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds while servicing equipment.
Visual acuity to inspect machinery, read schematics, and safely perform maintenance tasks.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Three years of stable work experience with one employer may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
Technical training or experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment, particularly SACMI compression molding or blow molding equipment, is a plus.
