Description of Work: As part of its strategic plan, DMV is reviewing its policies and procedures to be effective, clear and concise. This includes modernizing the Administrative Code and the General Statutes. Legal research and review of the Rules and the General Statutes as they relate to DMV sections. •Attend team meetings with legal staff and Division Directors. •Draft memos regarding their research, draft code provisions and draft legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Political Science or Law School Student from NC HBCU/MSI.
- Graduation date between 2023 - 2026
