About The Position
Clean Harbors is hiring an entry-level Hazmat Decontamination Technician for its safety-conscious team. InSite Technicians perform a range of waste-handling and customer-site tasks, with training and support provided. The role offers opportunities to grow and develop a career at Clean Harbors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
Responsibilities
- Make waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility.
- Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
- Package and label waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
- Participate in spill response at customer sites as needed.
- Operate forklifts.
- Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of waste-hauling vehicles.
- Complete waste-stream sampling and profiling.
