Hazmat CDL-A Driver
About The Position
We are hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated Advance Auto Parts account, hauling auto parts in dry van trailers. Drivers use newer automatic Freightliner sleeper trucks and are required to unload at each stop using a lift gate and electric pallet jack. Hazmat training support is available, provided the endorsement process is initiated upon hire. The schedule is Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, with late-afternoon and overnight start times. Average annual pay is $86,000, with mileage pay of $0.657 per mile and stop pay of $20 per stop. Drivers are paid weekly through activity-based compensation.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- Hazmat endorsement required; the endorsement process must be initiated upon hire to receive available training support.
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
