About The Position

Compensation & schedule $27/hour starting + $1.50 shift differential Work any days you prefer, so long as your hours fall between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Your mission Support the CGE Recycle Program by de-drumming incoming waste and packaging finished reclaimed solvent while upholding safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills; MS Office familiarity.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours.
  • Comfort with ladders and occasional work up to 50 feet high.
  • Good manual dexterity.

  • Forklift operation capability (experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Stage inbound drums and perform de-drumming activities.
  • Verify drums are RCRA-empty using approved equipment; route empties for proper disposal.
  • Package and label reclaimed product in approved containers, meeting special packaging requirements.
  • Maintain housekeeping and follow all SOPs and PPE requirements.
  • Adhere to RCRA, Title V, Air Permits, and OSHA regulations in assigned areas.
  • Complete regulatory paperwork, inspections, checklists, logs, manifests, and reports as assigned.
  • Participate in EHS and process-specific training; serve on the emergency response team.
  • Report spills immediately to the facility spill communication coordinator and escalate unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
  • Perform PRISM transactions: material transfers, move tickets, usage entries, PRISM logs, and work orders.
  • Track raw materials and produced inventory; align work with PRISM and ISO 9001:2000 SOPs per direction from the shift supervisor or senior operator.
  • Share turnover information with fellow operators; communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs promptly.
  • Recommend improvements to SOPs and recycle-related equipment.
