Woodard & Curran is seeking a Hazardous Waste Facility Manager to support the hazardous waste facility needs for a high-profile client at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and performing activities related to collecting, sorting, storing, and shipping hazardous and non-hazardous waste that is generated throughout a large industrial facility. You must be familiar with policies and procedures associated with the safe handling, packaging, storage, and shipment of hazardous waste, as well as non-hazardous waste and universal waste, including safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE), RCRA regulations, and DOT rules and regulations. This is a working manager role, requiring you to fill-in for Technicians when short-staffed and be proficient in their duties. The Hazardous Waste Facility Manager reports to the Project Manager and Assistant Plant Manager and must also work with Client Environmental staff, and personnel from all shops generating wastes of all types for disposal. Generated wastes include oils, cutting fluids, acids, bases, grinding debris, paint filters, blasting media, metal plating solutions, and other materials associated with aircraft maintenance.
