Haunted-U Program Assistant
About The Position
The Office of Science Outreach is seeking applicants for the part-time job of Haunted-U Program Assistant. This role involves supporting the Haunted-U event, including preparation and interacting with program participants. The assistant will promote a positive, inclusive, and enthusiastic event culture, provide excellent customer service, and assist with event set-up, clean-up, and supply organization. They will also maintain a clean workspace, communicate with event organizers, collect feedback, and assist presenters and volunteers. Other duties as assigned may be required.
Requirements
- Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
Responsibilities
- Haunted-U event support, including preparation and interacting with program participants.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and enthusiastic event culture
- Provide excellent customer service to event participants
- Assist with event set-up and clean-up
- Assist with supply organization and coordination
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace during the event
- Communicate with event organizers and coordinators
- Collect and provide event feedback
- Assist program presenters and volunteers
- Performing other duties as assigned
