About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves operating haul units safely and efficiently to transport raw materials within the site, performing pre- and post-operation inspections, following site safety protocols and environmental regulations, communicating effectively with team members and supervisors, and assisting with basic maintenance.

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment with strong situational awareness
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a dynamic operational environment
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment issues
• Dependability, accountability, and a proactive work ethic
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and drug/alcohol screen
• Successful candidate must submit to background check

Responsibilities

• Operate haul units safely and efficiently to transport raw materials within the site
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment reliability
• Follow site safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate hauling activities
• Assist with basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
