About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates haul trucks to transport raw materials safely and efficiently. The position involves performing routine pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment, communicating effectively with team members and supervisors, and following site safety protocols. Additionally, the operator will assist with general labor tasks as needed to support plant operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and responsibly
- Strong awareness of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work conditions
- Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts
Responsibilities
- Operate haul trucks to transport raw materials safely and efficiently
- Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow site safety protocols and report hazards promptly
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support plant operations
