About The Position

Join Amrize as a Haul Truck Driver and help construct whats next. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner. Plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Haul Truck Drivers are given primary responsibility of performing all plant and quarry tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment. The associated equipment of the limestone quarry and the plant equipment are also considered equipment to be operated through mobile operators.

Requirements

  • High School/GED
  • Must be willing to work holidays, weekends various shifts and overtime as directed.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate mobile equipment.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Possess communication skills.
  • Travel through a Aggregate plant, i.e. walk over obstacles, climb stairs and ladders, lift heavy or awkward parts, wear personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, fall protection, respirators etc.).
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
  • Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all plant and quarry tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment.
  • Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way, according to policies and procedures.
  • Help clean under conveyors, etc.
  • Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required.
  • Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
