This position will inform and educate the community on identifying and reporting hate crimes and bias incidents. The person in this role will assist in implementing outreach plans and strategies developed by leadership and will assist in the development and distribution of outreach materials used for messaging the public on hate crimes and bias incidents; and how these can be reported. This role will receive training on what a hate crime is and what a bias incident is. Works under the direction of the Director of Human Services and the Navigator Supervisor and follows established program guidelines and procedures. Requires a 6-month evaluation period.
