About The Position
This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 5 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. This position pays $16.95/hr. 10-hour days are required. This position works in an environment where temperature extremes are common, with temperatures ranging from 65 to 99 degrees Fahrenheit. The environment is humid/moist. Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must have a 180-day wait period from the last termination date.
- Candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3 times before (3X rule).
- Must work all holidays which occur on a scheduled workday.
Responsibilities
- Culling unthrifty chicks from the chick line during the process to help send a healthy chick to broilers.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the inside and outside of incubation machines, hallways, plenum hallway, drains, and various other locations throughout the facility.
- Performing any other duties assigned by supervisor.
