This position is a heavy lifting job. The Team Member will be responsible for setting eggs, moving racks of product weighing approximately 900 lbs. or greater consistently throughout the day, approximately 48 racks, and/or boxes throughout the facility in a concerted manner. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This will include but not be limited to operating machinery, counting, reading, scrubbing, soaping, rinsing, disinfecting, mopping, or buffing to meet all sanitation requirements set forth. The team member will also be responsible for practicing safe and delicate egg and chick handling, as well as promoting and practicing proper Animal Welfare Guidelines. Applicants must be able to lift approximately 30 lbs. occasionally, must be able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach for long periods of time- up to 10 + hours a shift, must be able to work in an area with a high concentration of allergens such as chick down, dust etc. Will be working in a climate ranging from cold to hot temperatures with high humidity. Must have a flexible schedule and complete all tasks or duties as assigned by management. Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. Animal Welfare background check is required.
