About The Position

This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves working in a time-sensitive schedule as part of a team, transferring chicks, setting up equipment, sanitation duties, and cleaning hatchery equipment and work areas. This job is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.

Requirements

Basic reading and writing skills.
Ability to follow instructions and company policies and regulations.
Ability to perform general labor without any restrictions.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Lifting and lowering up to 30 pounds to fullest extensions.
Attention to detail is a must.
Willingness to work in hot, humid, and dusty environments.
Willingness to perform a lot of walking on cement floors that may be wet/slippery.
Willingness to push stacks of chicks in baskets on a dolly.
