About The Position
This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role is part of Live Operations and requires flexibility based on operational needs. The pay is $17.95 per hour.
Requirements
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies and regulations.
- Must be able to perform general labor without any restrictions.
- Lifting and lowering up to 30 pounds to fullest extensions.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- This job entails a lot of walking on cement floors that may be wet/slippery, working in hot, humid, and dusty environments pushing stacks of chicks in baskets on a dolly.
Responsibilities
- Transferring chicks from hatchers to separator room via a dolly.
- Setting up equipment and work area.
- Sanitation duties include wearing PPE and working with sanitation equipment and products.
- Cleaning Hatchery equipment and work areas after production is complete.
