About The Position

The Purpose of the Hatchery Service person is to be responsible for transporting, grading, counting and stacking boxes of chicks at the hatchery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Open to working a variable shift when needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting chicks and removing dead or cull chicks.
• Counting chicks using the automatic counter and placing chicks into clean chick boxes.
• Stacking boxes of chicks and pushing stacked boxes of chicks to load-out area and placing them onto the trucks for delivery.
• General hatchery cleaning and sanitizing.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by the manager.
