The Purpose of the Hatchery Service person is to be responsible for transporting, grading, counting and stacking boxes of chicks at the hatchery. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be open to working a variable shift when needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inspecting chicks and removing dead or cull chicks.
• Responsible for counting chicks using the automatic counter and placing chicks into clean chick boxes.
• Must stack boxes of chicks and push stacked boxes of chicks to load-out area and place them onto the trucks for delivery.
• Responsible for general hatchery cleaning and sanitizing.
• Responsible for any other duties as deemed necessary by the manager.
