About The Position

This role is responsible for the sanitation of the Embrex machine in the hatchery. The shift times are Monday and Tuesday from 12pm to 1am, and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 10/11pm. The position requires the use of high-pressure hoses and involves standing for the entire shift. Responsibilities include setting up the Embrex machine, loading and feeding racks correctly, performing quality control, loading sanitizer, running clean cycles, and performing breakdown and cleaning of the machine at the end of the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to stand on feet the entire shift
• Ability to use high-pressure hoses
• Ability to pull heavy racks

Responsibilities

• Set up the Embrex machine
• Load racks into the unloader and ensure they are fed through correctly
• Perform Quality Control on the Embrex machine after every 12 racks
• Load sanitizer in the machine after every 24 racks
• Run a clean cycle on the Embrex Machine
• Clean the Embrex Machine
• Use of high-Pressure Hoses
• Pull heavy racks
• Breakdown and cleaning of machine at the end of shift
