About The Position
This role involves general labor tasks within a hatchery environment. Responsibilities include assisting with chick pull, cleaning incubation equipment, delivering chicks to farms, stacking, and sanitation. The position requires working with cleaners and disinfectants, adhering to safety rules, and potentially obtaining a PIT license. Work areas can be hot, wet, and dusty, necessitating the use of hearing and eye protection. The role also includes performing other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be able to work holidays as scheduled
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to obtain PIT license if necessary
