This role involves the physical transfer of eggs from the egg room to the setter hall and the careful unloading of egg flats into setter racks. The position also includes the cleaning of incubators. The work environment can be dusty, and the individual must be able to work effectively with others without direct supervision. A key requirement is the ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. The role may require working on most holidays and occasional overtime. Adherence to all department safety and biosecurity rules is mandatory. A specific biosecurity rule states that employees cannot own a flock or poultry, unless it is a Tyson flock. Other tasks may be assigned by a supervisor, and rotation between tasks is possible. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
