About The Position

This role involves the physical transfer of eggs within the hatchery. The primary duties include pulling egg buggies from the egg room to the setter hall and unloading egg flats into setter racks. Additionally, the position requires cleaning incubators. The job is performed in a dusty environment and requires the ability to work effectively with others without direct supervision. The role also involves occasional overtime and requires adherence to all department safety and biosecurity rules. Some tasks may be subject to rotation, and the successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Must be able to work in a dusty environment.
Must be able to work well with others without supervision.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to work most holidays.
Must abide by all department safety rules.
Must abide by all biosecurity rules and not own a flock or poultry (unless Tyson flock).
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
