About The Position

This role is responsible for the management and maintenance of the hatchery egg room, including inventory, incubator setup, and coordination of egg handling schedules. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Previous poultry hatchery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate egg room inventory count.
• Set eggs and enter correct start times and profiles for incubators.
• Ensure hot water is available for each incubator set and that setter floors are dry.
• Coordinate the schedule for egg sliders and drivers.
• Designate which eggs are to be destroyed.
• Perform all other relevant duties to the job.
