About The Position

Reporting to the Hatchery Manager, the Hatchery Coordinator is accountable for providing general administrative support to the Hatchery Manager and Operations team by coordinating internal and external correspondence, accurate data entry, monthly reconciliation, invoicing, and providing support to the Hatchery and Live Operations team including inventory control, Payroll, HR, AP, AR and overall office operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum grade 12 diploma
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous administrative experience an asset
  • Thorough knowledge of Kronos and Insync an asset

Responsibilities

  • Filing, photocopying, and coordinating internal and external correspondence i.e. Mail, fax, courier.
  • Providing administrative support to the entire hatchery including preparation of reports to boards and commissions.
  • Accurate data entry and administering the HIMS system.
  • Ordering supplies for employees.
  • Preparing and coding all invoices for A/P department and A/R department.
  • Hatchery employees Payroll.
  • Coordinating Logistics of deliveries.
  • Inventory management and procurement of vaccines and dry goods.
  • Other duties as assigned.
