As a Harvest Operations Supervisor, you will lead a production team and product line in a fast-paced butcher manufacturing environment. Your leadership will directly influence safety, food quality, team engagement, and operational results.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in a production environment
  • Experience in a fast-paced butcher manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of KPIs, quality standards, and production targets
  • Understanding of food safety and regulatory compliance
  • Coaching and development skills
  • Continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with SOPs, safety procedures, and production standards
  • Ability to conduct product audits and investigate deviations
  • Skills in maximizing yield and controlling costs
  • Experience in reducing claims and improving operational efficiency
  • Ability to monitor slaughter operations and ensure quality standards
  • Experience in conducting pre-operational inspections
  • Ability to submit maintenance work orders
  • Knowledge of minimizing waste and controlling product sent to inedible
  • Ability to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe production environment
  • Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF programs

Responsibilities

  • Build a high-performing team that delivers results safely and consistently
  • Drive accountability to KPIs, quality standards, and production targets
  • Champion food safety and regulatory compliance with zero compromises
  • Develop team members through coaching, cross-training, and clear expectations
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Train and coach team members on SOPs, safety procedures, and production standards
  • Lead daily team meetings and drive engagement on the production floor
  • Coach employees on performance, productivity, and quality expectations
  • Build bench strength through cross-training and skill development
  • Monitor slaughter and harvest operations to ensure product quality and operational efficiency
  • Manage job rotations and line assignments to maximize productivity
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Materials teams to meet production schedules
  • Conduct product audits and investigate quality or food safety deviations
  • Meet production volume goals while maximizing yield and controlling cost
  • Reduce claims and improve operational efficiency across the harvest line
  • Monitor slaughter operations and ensure product quality standards are met
  • Provide coaching and hands-on training to develop team members
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure production equipment is ready
  • Submit maintenance work orders when needed to maintain equipment performance
  • Minimize waste and control product sent to inedible
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe production environment
  • Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF programs
