About The Position

We are looking for experienced hardwood installers and hardwood refinishers to join our subcontractor team. We need individuals who take pride in their work and can execute at a high level to keep up with demand. This role involves a mix of new hardwood installation and sand-and-finish/refinish projects. As a subcontractor, you will be assigned jobs as they come in, with the goal of providing steady work for solid installers.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in hardwood installation or sand & refinish work
Sharp eye for detail
Understanding of subfloor prep, moisture considerations, and species-specific handling
Reliable, professional on-site presence
Own tools and transportation to job sites
Proof of past work (photos or references)
Certificate of insurance (insured applicants only)

Responsibilities

Perform hardwood installation.
Perform hardwood sand and refinish work.
Ensure tight seams, clean transitions, and consistent finish.
Prepare subfloors.
Manage moisture considerations.
Handle wood species appropriately.
Maintain a reliable and professional on-site presence.
Represent the company's name in customer homes.
Travel to job sites in Shelby Twp, Sterling Heights, Macomb, Utica, and Washington Twp.
