About The Position

Teradyne’s Product Integration and Verification group is seeking a motivated Hardware Verification Engineer with a background or interest in AC and/or RF hardware technology. The engineer will develop test hardware and software to verify the functionality and performance of new products, integrating with hardware, software, firmware, and other development functions to bring products to market. This is an opportunity for a new college graduate who will be teamed with and mentored by senior engineers while developing their career and expertise. This is an on-site position in North Reading, Massachusetts, requiring an average of four days per week on site. Candidates must be local to the position location; relocation assistance is not available. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The base salary range is $69,700–$111,500, depending on experience and skill set, and the role is eligible for discretionary bonuses based on financial performance.

Requirements

BSEE or BSCE.
0 to 1 years of experience.
Coursework in Analog and RF Design.
Experience in a lab setting debugging hardware, software, and integration issues.
Ability to collaborate with teammates to resolve issues.
Background in object-oriented programming.

Nice To Haves

Prior internship experience is preferred.
C, C++, or C# programming experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop automated test techniques to verify the functionality, accuracy, and performance of new products.
Write test code in an object-oriented software environment; debug, verify, and deploy tests to the product team and ultimately the factory for production release.
Develop custom PCBAs and/or other test hardware as needed to support product verification.
Integrate and collaborate with the product team to debug and resolve product integration and performance issues.
