About The Position

This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe. Huntington Ingalls Industries: Mission Technologies is seeking several Technicians to work multiple DoD contracts, onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidates will support the design, build, troubleshooting, delivery, maintenance and support of numerous trainers and test systems for both the Army and the Navy.

Requirements

AA Degree in related discipline + 1 year of related experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience.
Secret Security Clearance required at hire

Nice To Haves

Ability to read and understand Production Drawings
Ability to read and understanding Wiring Diagrams
Familiar with Cable building including build up of cable assemblies
Familiar with Electronics testing equipment i.e. Voltmeters, oscilliscopes
Some supervisory experience a plus

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
