About The Position

The Hardware Technician delivers, installs, and sets up computer systems, including software installation and network cabling. The role diagnoses computer and equipment problems and repairs or replaces equipment or parts. The technician tracks assigned inventory and keeps daily logs of field activities, mileage, and expenses. The position is based in Piney Flats, Tennessee, reports to the Team Lead, and requires overnight travel, with travel up to 90%.

Requirements

• Knowledge, education, experience, or expertise in computer hardware and repair, software installation, and basic Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to set up or build computer systems and peripherals.
• Ability to diagnose and repair or replace equipment and parts.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
• Demonstrated critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight.

Nice To Haves

• A+ certification is desired.
