About The Position

The Hardware Technician will be responsible for delivering, installing, and setting up computer systems, including software installation and network cabling. This role involves analyzing and diagnosing computer/equipment problems, and performing necessary repairs or replacements. The technician will also be responsible for keeping track of assigned inventory and maintaining daily logs of activities, mileage, and expenses incurred while working in the field.

Requirements

  • Acquired knowledge/education/experience/expertise of computer hardware and repair.
  • Software installation knowledge/experience.
  • Basic knowledge/experience in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to set up/build computer systems and peripherals.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair, or replace, equipment and parts.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks assigned in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Overnight travel is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A+ certification is desired.
