HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Software/Hardware Engineer to aid in Manufacturing, Testing, and Delivery of numerous Part Task Trainers for the U.S. Navy. The candidate will aid in, and provide oversight for, the day-to-day manufacturing process of the HAR and OK-410 Part Task Trainers to support the Naval Station Great Lakes A-School. These are complex trainers utilized in the education of sailors prior to deploying shipboard. This is a multidisciplinary opportunity for someone who wants experience across different areas. Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
- SECRET Security Clearance with the US government is required at hire
Nice To Haves
- CAD experience (Solidworks)or similar program
- Experience soldering, stripping wires, and crimping pins
- Strong ability to read/understand schematics and wiring diagrams
- PCB level troubleshooting and repair capabilities
Responsibilities
- Performs engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical.
- Aids in the manufacturing of production units by wiring components, testing connectivity, installing equipment, installing software, and testing deliverable end items
