BAE Systems has recently been awarded new programs and is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth. This role is a dual role where you will perform in the player-coach model, where some of your time is allocated to being a team manager of engineers and part of your time as an individual contributor. This managed balance enables you to work on programs as a technical contributor/leader and manage your systems engineering team. Our products are primarily Electronic Warfare systems that enable our warfighters to execute their missions safely. This part of the role, will enable you to engage in developing our EW solutions. There will be opportunities to use your existing skills and develop new ones as we work to extend your career path in alignment with your goals and the company needs. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. On top of numerous diverse and challenging career opportunities, BAE offers flexible schedules (including every other Friday off), competitive compensation, and an excellent benefit package that includes tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees.
