About The Position

Sales Associates engage with customers professionally and courteously, both in-store and over the phone. They assist customers with home improvement or construction projects by providing knowledgeable guidance and support. The role calls for knowledge of the building and home improvement industry, strong communication and interpersonal skills, technical proficiency in quoting and computer systems, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

The position requires basic education, including the ability to read and write competently. Some experience selling or serving customers and knowledge of building materials are desirable but not required. Limited typing and key punch skills are also desirable but not required. The role requires general knowledge of the building industry.

The work involves some physical effort, including standing, extensive walking, and medium lifting. Work takes place in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments. The job is classified as constant medium work and occasional heavy work.
