- Prior experience with hardware insertion equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate hardware presses to install a variety of clinch fasteners into sheet metal components
- Configure and adjust bowl feeders to optimize feed rates, minimize handling, and maintain consistent insertion cycles
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to confirm fastener type, placement, and orientation
- Inspect and validate installations to meet dimensional, mechanical, and repeatability requirements, reporting nonconformance to quality and/or supervisors as needed
- Maintain machine reliability through setup, adjustment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, following safety policies without exception
- Assist with other duties as assigned with fabrication and assembly processes
