About The Position

This is a full-time internship program for students pursuing a BA/BS degree in a relevant program. Interns will be given assignments that expand on their skills and provide on-the-job experience. The program is 10 weeks long, with interns working 40 hours per week. The internship offers a paid opportunity to use talents and start a career, with tasks owned from beginning to end, constant feedback, and mentoring from an experienced engineer. Requirements

  • Pursuing a BA/BS degree in relevant program
  • Demonstrated skills and competency in relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills: must be able to breakdown problems and identify methods to solve those problems
  • Must be curious, with a natural drive to learn and understand
  • Must be a team player with the ability to develop strong working relationships and partnerships across different departments and with customers
  • A strong business sense – person needs the ability to understand market problems and opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial drive to take ownership of a task and execute to achieve the desired outcome
  • A strong service orientation with a “how can I help?” approach
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have above average technical aptitude
  • Juniors or Seniors
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support HW for automotive diagnostic and testing application
  • Develop and support low level software (using C) including system-level and driver-level SW
  • Investigate/troubleshoot HW failures
  • Create HW test plans as required and review test data.
  • Perform HW analysis and create reports.
  • Create reports for feedback of HW issues to new designs.
  • Create SW/test SW as necessary for HW validation
  • Generate engineering documents: specifications, schematics, BOM, validation reports, etc.
  • Work closely with quality and manufacturing departments
  • Follow established procedures and best practices
