Requirements

  • 2+ years of Automotive Experience in automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting, validation, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to identify service and diagnostic needs and translate requirements into practical tooling solutions for field and production environments.
  • Ability to independently perform testing, root cause analysis, validation, and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in vehicle communication networks including CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and diagnostic protocols.
  • Ability to analyze complex vehicle systems and translate technical issues into structured diagnostic workflows and fault trees.
  • Experience supporting the creation, review, validation, and continuous improvement of diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting content.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support testing, validation, implementation, or training activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with engineering processes, testing methodologies, and validation activities.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in vehicle diagnostics.
  • Experience developing procedures, work instructions, or training materials.
  • Experience supporting field operations, service centers, mobile service teams, or body shop networks.
  • Proficient in Jira, Jama, 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), and other engineering lifecycle management tools.
  • Experience working with high-voltage (HV) vehicle systems, electric vehicle architectures, or autonomous vehicle technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Cross-Engineering team in design, prototyping, validation, and production of Service tools.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to efficiently turn prototypes into production tools for the Service environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, maintain, and improve diagnostic and service solutions for vehicle systems.
  • Support the creation, review, and validation of fault trees, diagnostic workflows, troubleshooting guides, and service procedures.
  • Take projects from idea to finished product as smoothly and quickly as possible.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Perform under time constraints to produce excellent results.
