About The Position

The Hardware Engineer oversees the hardware testing and debug environment setup, assists with identifying related hardware engineering issues, and communicates with HQ team and vendors to ensure product is delivered on time.

  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of PC hardware architecture
  • Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
  • Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience conducting hardware troubleshooting, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) reworking, signal waveform analysis, and debugging using oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
  • Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.
  • Experience in designing circuit boards is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the engineers to solve engineering issues in a timely manner.
  • Set up hardware testing and debug environment.
  • Collaborate with the Research and Development team to find out the root cause.
  • Support the manufacturing debug team with troubleshooting tasks.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and customers.
  • Measure the signal waveform and support the bring up test.
  • Operate the oscilloscope and Digital multi-meter.
  • Solder wire and rework PCB board.
