Requirements

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Hardware Engineer-related occupation.
Design and validation of hardware subsystems accounting for performance-power trade-offs
Debugging program code, firmware, and software or troubleshooting hardware, electrical, and mechanical systems through root cause analysis
Data analysis to generate solutions and develop strategic plans of action
Systems architecture design to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost
Technical documentation of systems, software, and hardware specifications

Responsibilities

Analyze hardware components to identify key issues, performance trade-offs, and potential risks.
Develop and implement corrective solutions to address and resolve complex hardware failures.
Optimize constrained or intricate hardware components to meet performance, power, and cost targets.
Review hardware designs, including schematics, block diagrams, and layouts, to anticipate and mitigate issues.
Validate hardware functionality and performance by conducting rigorous testing and analyzing results.
Document the complete hardware design, implementation, and validation results throughout the product lifecycle.
