As a Lead Hardware Engineer, you will guide and maintain an integrated ecosystem of simulation hardware, modeling components, and networked training systems that support high-fidelity rehearsals and large-scale exercises military units. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for sustaining system readiness, advancing architectural improvements, and driving innovation across the simulation hardware stack. You’ll oversee Tier 1-3 troubleshooting, manage lifecycle replacement and hardware upgrades, direct installation and integration of new simulation hardware, and coordinate deployment of system enhancements. Your leadership will ensure that all training systems, including local and distributed, remain reliable and aligned with evolving mission requirements. In this role, you’ll support live, virtual, and constructive training environments, develop and enforce hardware configuration management processes, maintain geographically dispersed systems during complex training events. You’ll identify deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and contribute technical expertise to new simulator builds, prototype efforts, and hardware-focused modernization initiatives. You will lead a small team of hardware engineers requiring communication, a strong troubleshooting mindset, adaptability, and a proactive approach to technical challenges. This role offers substantial growth potential and provides opportunities to influence the future of simulation hardware solutions.
