Job Description Summary: An Electronics/Electrical Engineer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer 2 is a design professional who plays a critical role in the development of high-complexity printed circuit boards. As an Electronics/Electrical Engineer PCB Designer 2, you will design, develop and execute printed circuit layouts for electronic equipment including sensors, motors, radar and navigation systems. You will work as a member of a cross-functional engineering team including Electronics, Electronics Packaging, Manufacturing, Component Engineering and Quality to ensure the PCB designs meet performance and manufacturing requirements. Your expertise will be critical in delivering high-quality PCB designs that support innovative product development. The Electronics/Electrical Engineer PCB Designer 2 independently executes (with oversight) simple to complex printed circuit layouts for standard board technologies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in electronic design.
- Ability to write detailed design specifications.

- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Thorough understanding of engineering theories and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in electrical engineering or related field.

- Master's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Translates project and system requirements into well-defined hardware architectures working with cross-functional teams.
- Innovatively solves issues, drives completion of the project to schedule, and collaboratively works with other technical contributors.
- Builds, debugs, and tests prototypes and deliverable hardware.
- Prepares documentation for manufacturing, and provides continuous support.
- Researches and enables innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs.
- Engages other engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost effective end solutions for products.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Independently executes assignments with minimal oversight.
- Able to apply technical knowledge to solve problems.
- Contributes high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
- Proactively identifies needs and concerns associated with design decisions and communicates them to project leadership.
