About The Position

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of our nation in defending the United States and its interests. This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or a degree in a related STEM discipline.
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience.
  • Direct experience with field installation and testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing.
  • Ability to read schematic diagrams, wiring lists, and assembly prints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently; self‑starter.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills to balance, plan, prioritize, and execute projects.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with time constraints.
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 45 lbs. independently.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Garrison - Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with RF transmission and high‑power electronics, switchgears, analog and digital control hardware, and RFI shielding practices.
  • Familiarity with software such as RSLinx, RSLogix, RSView, MATLAB, and Allen‑Bradley hardware (PLC‑5 and I/O modules).
  • Software development experience in C under VxWorks.
  • Weapons test range operations and systems O&M experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operations & maintenance support for C‑band and Ka‑band radar hardware systems.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and custom hardware.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance procedures and run system diagnostic software.
  • Lead and support design and implementation of improvement and modernization (I&M) projects, including maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Install new equipment.
  • Coordinate and maintain spares lists.
  • Provide technical input regarding system configuration and performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
