Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of successful design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of signal integrity and transmission line theory, specifically on PCB.
  • Strong analog engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in serial data communications protocols (I2C, SPI, etc.)
  • Understanding of common scripting languages for controlling and automating hardware (Matlab, Python, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VNA measurements.
  • Knowledge of DDR and PCIE.
  • Familiar with Agile development processes.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation software (Ansys HFSS, HyperLinx)

Responsibilities

  • Design high speed PCB circuits from schematic, driving layout, and evaluating board bring-up.
  • Set and meet or exceed schedules for fast and predictable development. Identify project risks and generate recommendations to address them.
  • Engage and drive process improvement efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of the engineering organization.
  • Perform peer review and testing. Participate in DFx reviews.
  • May perform research to determine the feasibility of new products, product features, capabilities, or advancements in test and measurement science.
