About The Position

Zones LLC is seeking a qualified Hardware Technician for a 6+ month on-site position in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves setting up and managing Windows-based desktops/laptops, including software inventory, printer mapping, device replacement, and peripheral connection. The technician will also be responsible for software and printer installation using SCCM, issue resolution, escalation to the onsite lead technician, and asset management. Candidates must be A+ Certified or possess equivalent experience, undergo a drug screen, provide vaccination/immunization documentation, and a TB test. Requirements

• A+ Certified or possess equivalent experience in desktop support.
• Familiarity with SCCM and Windows-based systems for deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn systems and technologies.
• Must undergo a 10-panel drug screen.
• Must provide vax/immunization documentation.
• Must undergo a TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work with Windows-based desktops/laptops that come with a base image loaded.
• Conduct an inventory of software/applications installed on each machine.
• Review and document existing printer mappings.
• Replace old computer devices with new ones.
• Connect peripherals such as document scanners, webcams, and signature pads.
• Ensure the new machine is connected to the network.
• Use SCCM to load any required applications.
• Map printers on the new machine.
• Promptly escalate any issues to the onsite lead technician.
• Return the old devices to the asset cage.
• Coordinate with a lead technician at each location.
