About The Position

This is a temporary, part-time position at Tisdale Home Centre for a Hardware Clerk. The role is seasonal, running from July to September 2026, with a possibility of extension. The position requires providing professional customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and performing various tasks related to hardware merchandise.

Requirements

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with the public.
• Must be available for work a variety of shifts including weekends.

• Some heavy lifting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance.
• Provide a level of service to all customers that meets the Co-operative’s standards in courtesy and efficiency.
• Maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Complete safety training as required.
• Provide information, assistance and customer service in a manner that will promote the sale of merchandise in a friendly and courteous way.
• Become familiar with all hardware merchandise and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Perform key cutting and paint mixing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
