Computer Hardware Engineer I
About The Position
CACI is currently seeking a Computer Hardware Engineer I in support of a program whose initiative is aimed at combating evolving and emerging threats, supporting related exploitation and replication activities, and advancing operational rehearsal, exercise, wargaming, and counter system development. Additionally, we are focusing on integration and experimentation, including Modeling and Simulation. By joining this team, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the U.S. and our allies’ ability to develop and apply models and simulations throughout the lifecycle of military and commercial technologies and systems. Your work will help ensure Warfighter readiness and the realization of future capabilities.
Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree or 2-year technical school.
- 3 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Researching new technologies and methods for computer hardware.
- Designing computer or computer-related equipment.
- Developing prototypes or models of computer hardware.
- Testing computer hardware to ensure it meets specifications and functions correctly.
- Supervising the manufacturing process of computer hardware.
- Overseeing the installation of computer hardware and components.
- Ensuring that the hardware is suitable for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
