About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating the hardware lifecycle as part of a large-scale hardware refresh project. The project involves transitioning from a 6-year lifecycle to a 48-month lease cycle for approximately 80,000 devices. The Hardware Asset Coordinator will manage the flow of orders from vendors, utilize the asset management system (not physically handling devices), and communicate with internal teams, end users, and vendors. This role will also involve forecasting, coordinating, and refreshing inventory to meet project goals, and working with the procurement team to coordinate Purchase Orders (POs). There is a potential for building dashboards if the candidate has relevant experience, though this is not a requirement.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience
• Experience with ServiceNow's Hardware Asset Management tool
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to tell a story with numbers
• Knack for numbers and understanding what questions to ask
• Basic understanding of hardware specifications (CPUs, RAM, processors, storage, etc.)
• PC/Hardware refresh supply chain background
• Experience with lifecycle coordination
• Ability to consider how different roles (plant workers, admins, etc.) will be impacted
• Ability to take instruction and execute independently
• Hardware focused background
