About The Position

Asset Management Oversee tracking, maintenance, and lifecycle management of company assets. Manage acquisition, disposal, and transfer of assets, ensuring compliance and proper documentation. Schedule and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and replacements to maximize uptime and extend asset life. Conduct some repairs and maintenance. Conduct technical reviews, and preventive maintenance assessments. Collaborate with accounting and upper management on cost-effective acquisitions and long-term planning. Ensure all assets comply with industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Track and analyze asset performance. Recommend improvements to reduce risk, optimize asset use, and lower operational costs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with asset coordination, or a related role.
  • Experience with asset tracking systems and maintenance planning preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use/learn asset management software.
  • Must be able to operate and load equipment on trailers. (i.e. skid steer loader, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, etc…)
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. repeatedly. (i.e. loading trucks & trailers with materials, tools, or equipment)
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must be experienced and proficient driving pickup trucks and pulling trailers with good trailer backing skills.
  • Must be proficient in strapping and binding loads of all types on trucks and trailers to prevent movement/shifting during transportation.
  • Must have some auto/diesel/small tool mechanic abilities.
  • Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying problems with tools or equipment and ability to perform quick and productive routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, tightening, and adjusting/repairing equipment, and changing tires when necessary.
  • Generally keeping all tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Capable of using any construction tool properly for testing and maintenance and understanding all applications of the safety guards and accessories that are required to be used with each tool.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with proactive mindset and high attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred but not required.
